It’s been an exciting start of the week as I’Mpossible launched their football initiative in conjunction with the Thabo September Foundation. This initiative is powered by Q4 Fuel and supported by RSC, Fitchef and the McCarthy Group Centurion.

Today the whistle blows for the start of the ‘GAME OF LIFE’ for so many children and we accept the challenge and the responsibility associated with this awesome event….football is a TEAM sport where each individual takes responsibility for his or her part in the game and it is our responsibility to ensure their success.

Q4 is a performance driven company fuelled by passion, energy and a will to constantly improve. We are proud to announce that they are the founding sponsor of I’Mpossible and the main sponsor of the Thabo September foundation

Thus far I’Mpossible supplied us with I’Mpossible wristbands selling for R50 each. With all proceeds going towards the Foundation we are able to change lives on a daily basis. I’Mpossible makes things possible through creating opportunities for those less fortunate than us.

On the 6th of September the Thabo September Foundation will be hosting the first tournament in conjunction with I’Mpossible. The tournament’s main focus would be to raise funds for the Doug WhiteHead Special School, which is situated in Kensington.

The Doug WhiteHead School is as school for disabled children. Some of these children are mentally disabled but regardless they love sports and being physically active. We were able to experience this first hand for ourselves as we have visited the school three times already. The school’s wish list includes the need of sports equipment as well as a school bus.

The event will take place at Kensington Primary School which is at Number 57 Cumberland Road, in Kensington. This will be a tournament for Under 15’s. Teams that would like to register in order to take part in the event are welcome to email us for tournament details. The tournament will start at 9am until 16h00. Adults are welcome to come through to support on the day. Entertainment would include Metro FM’s  DJ Mlu who hosts the shows Dance Culture and Metro fm lounge. We will also have live performances from DJ Mthiza, Bash, Mageba and Athi.

We would like to thank everyone that is fully involved with the Foundation. a Big thank you to Izelle Hoffman from I’Mpossible who are supporting us in making a difference. By joining forces with this initiative powered by Q4 Fuels we would be able to make a significant impact in our community.

Through I’Mpossible, we would be able to innovate, educate, empower and create opportunities for long term, sustainable job creation.

Kickoff Soccerbabe Ninii says she enjoys working with Thabo, organizing the events is not child’s play for it requires all of your time just so you can get the results that you are looking for at the end of the day.  The Thabo September Foundation is not only focusing on Knysna and Johannesburg but it is spreading to other cities as well. We will be doing projects at rural areas for we need to give each and every child the opportunity to grow in sports, not only football however other sporting codes as well.

Thabo September is grateful for the support that he is receiving from his teammates at Supersport United Football Club as well as other PSL players

For more information regarding the tournament please email @ts_foundation1 or visit www.thaboseptemberfoundation.co.za

We are looking forward to having 8 to 10  events every year and that way we can grow and also help other grow with what we have to assist them with.
